Putting Natural Horsekeeping Into Practice

OK, so this has pretty much nothing to do with me converting my farm to a natural horsekeeping facility. BUT, this is probably the most exciting thing that's happened to me in recent history. Lots of folks have been asking to see pics and I thought this would be a very efficient means of sharing.

Beatrix had her foal somewhere around 10PM Monday June 20, 2005. She gave me a bay colt with four socks of various heights and a star. And no, he doesn't have a name yet. I spent several hours Tuesday crouched in the foaling stall, snapping pics and generally marvelling that something so big (and so strong) came from within my poor mare.

Alas, I am SO not a photographer and my subject was quite uncooperative. I'm sticking an assortment of photos up just to have something to point people to, but I will continue to try getting more flattering shots.
